Legal Counsel - LATAM

Your tasksAdvise the business units of the group of companies in all legal matters an independent and self-reliant manner following the framework of Utimaco group’s legal management Review and create contracts of all kinds, especially in IT law Negotiate contracts with customers and partners in LATAM and internationally, and evaluate their terms and conditions Assume responsibility for compliance with applicable laws and drafting and enforcing internal compliancepolicies Advise Utimaco group’s legal management of applicable and upcoming local laws and regulations Ensure legal control and advice in cross-divisional projects If required, occasionally travel to meet different teams and partnersYour profileExperience & Education Necessity Essential Experience as in-house lawyer Essential International environment or a commercial law firm experience Desirable Legal experience in IT law Essential Knowledge of legal regimes in the LATAM region and respective business experience Essential Skills & Abilities Ability to familiarize yourself with unknown legal topics and complex, technical issues Essential Ability to work independently and with a high degree of independence Essential Excellent communication and presentation skills; capable of articulating complex concepts and solutions in Spanish and English Essential Problem-solving skills Essential Ability to work with an international team in different locations EssentialWe offerMeal Vouchers Vacation/Holidays Christmas Bonus Medical Insurance
