Building Product Configurations

Product Data Specialist Join a global manufacturing company in its Product Data Team buildout as a Product Data Specialist. This is a long-term project with a 12-month contract working directly on product configuration and ERP data management. This is an opportunity for those who have experience managing Bills of Materials (BOMs), product structures, and working with ERP systems. You will work with product data models and variant configurations to ensure accurate manufacturing information flows through ERP systems. As a key member of the Product Data Team, you will analyze large datasets, identify inconsistencies, and propose solutions – all within a fast-paced global context. Your skills in Variant Configuration (VC) or product rule logic, ERP experience (preferably SAP), knowledge of manufacturing structures (BOMs, assemblies, routings), strong analytical skills, and attention to detail will be valuable assets. Key Responsibilities: Configure and manage product data models to ensure accurate manufacturing information flows through ERP systems. Analyze large datasets to identify inconsistencies and propose solutions. Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement product data management strategies. Develop and maintain product rules and configurations to support business requirements. Required Skills and Qualifications: Experience with Variant Configuration (VC) or product rule logic. ERP experience (preferably SAP). Knowledge of manufacturing structures (BOMs, assemblies, routings). Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Advanced English language skills.
