With a shared vision oftransformation , we endeavor to shape a brighter future for higher education.About the OpportunityThe Academic Senior Solutions Consultant oversees all solution-related and competitive aspects of the sales cycle, serving as the subject matter expert in student enrollment, student retention and student success. This role also requires a deep understanding of the entire student life cycle, ensuring comprehensive expertise across all academic processes—from recruitment to graduation. In collaboration with GTM teams, the Senior SC will identify and align customer pain points and objectives with a value-driven sales methodology. This approach highlights the strategic elements of the proposed solution and fosters long-term partnership opportunities with Ellucian. Working alongside the Latin America and Caribbean GTM teams, you will cultivate strong relationships with both new and existing customers, driving innovation, thought leadership, and revenue growth. You will also expand your expertise in higher education solutions, playing a key role in helping institutions achieve their organizational goals while effectively leveraging our technologies. Where you will make an impact Sales and Customer Engagement Gain a deep understanding of the unique needs of higher education institutions, identifying the right solutions and effectively communicating their value through remote and onsite demonstrations. Engage in strategy and discovery sessions, both onsite and remotely, to build relationships and develop a comprehensive knowledge of prospective customer challenges, including pain points, redundancies, process gaps, and perceived value. Establish credibility with staff, administration, and key decision-makers as a trusted subject matter and solution expert. Support RFx activities as needed, ensuring timely and accurate responses. Represent Ellucian at industry events, user group meetings, and conferences, promoting thought leadership and engagement. Stay up to date on industry trends and product innovations, maintaining expertise in higher education technology solutions. Solution Consulting Manage and optimize critical use cases within the demonstration environment to enhance efficiency and impact during sales. Prepare tailored demonstrations based on discovery findings and research, ensuring alignment with customer needs. Develop scripts and compelling demonstration narratives that resonate with customer priorities. Deliver engaging solution presentations and demonstrations, ensuring they align with the team's sales strategy and approach. Technical & Internal Collaboration Clearly articulate specific customer needs to internal technical teams, facilitating the development of reports, analytics, workflows, or other customer-specific business capabilities resolved with platform extensions. Act as a key internal resource, educating the Sales division on product updates and advancements. Cross-train on additional solutions as required by management to expand skillsets and improve solution coverage within the consulting team. Serve as an active member and subject matter expert in internal product team committees, providing valuable insights and recommendations. Content & Resource Management Contribute to the library of internal and customer-facing resources, assisting in the production of recorded demonstrations and other materials. Maintain and update demonstration materials, including PowerPoint presentations and supporting tools, to ensure consistency and relevance. Other Responsibilities Perform other duties as necessary, adapting to evolving business needs and opportunities. What will you bring Functional/Technical: Working experience on CRMs and Student Information System (SIS) in higher Education (mandatory) Higher Ed. Minimum of 5 years of experience in higher education, preferably in student enrollment, student retention, student success and the whole student lifecycle processes. Demonstrated understanding of current industry trends and issues in higher education Sales Sales experience in higher education Passion for solving critical business issues and problems with software Soft skills Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills Fast learner and self-taught Self-motivated and proactive to constantly learn and grow Ability to work collaboratively and build strong cross functional relationships Resilient and positive Highly organized with exceptional eye for detail Takes a strategic approach to work Creative thinker, open and inquisitive mind Thrives in fast paced, deadline-driven working environment Other: Flexibility to travel within Latin America and the Caribbean region, when needed. Fluent in Spanish and English Bachelor’s degree Desired Skills & Experience: Master’s degree preferred Working knowledge in Ellucian CRM and SIS Solutions is highly desired.
