PLANT MANAGERWe are looking for aPLANT MANAGERto join our Power Plant team inMonterrey, Mexico,that will be in charge of planning, leading, and managing operation and maintenance activities at the plant. What will you be doingAs aPLANT MANAGER , you will be accountable to plan, lead, and manage operation and maintenance activities at the plant and assigned team to ensure customer satisfaction and to reach set contractual quality, financial, cost and time targets. The ideal candidate for this position will have a degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electromechanical or Electronic or Electrical or related) or 4 years of experience managing large operations. Asa PLANT MANAGER,you will focus on these responsibilities: Lead and execute the Mobilisation Process of the O&MPlant performance indicators according to the contractCoordinate with Management resources the development and training of O&M personnelOperations & Maintenance Management for assigned plant (Monterrey)Responsible for all activities relating to the daily contract management at the power plantInclusive of planning and implementation of plant operations & maintenance.Communicate effectively with the plant team relative to the condition of the plant equipment and performance and to provide suggestions for improvementsAdministration and training of skilled and motivated contract management personnel to assure good teamwork.Establish and implement standard Wärtsilä Services procedures and Contract Management processPrepare reports, plans, and budgets as instructed by the Contract ManagerIdentify and actively seek to improve operational & maintenance reliability and availability Main responsibilities RequiredPlant performance according to agreementOperations & Maintenance management for assigned plantMaintain Agreement KPI's on a healthy resultExecution of all daily activities according to agreement at the plant including planning and implementation of plant operations & maintenance.Development of competencies, teamwork, and way of working to ensure highly skilled and motivated personnelEffective communication with the plant teamSecuring staff safetyEstablish and implement standard operations procedures according to Wärtsilä Code of Conduct as well as global Contract management processes.Prepare reports, plans, and budgets as instructed by the Agreement ManagerIdentify and actively seek to improve operational & maintenance reliability and availabilityManage local requirements such as housing, transportation, logistics, etc. To be successful in this role, we expect you to have: Excellent command of English, both written and oral.Bachelor/ University Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electromechanical or Electronic or Electrical or related) or 4 years of equivalent experience managing large operations.Know how to motivate, engage and inspire large teamsHave a strong emotional intelligenceExperience in the development of technical resourcesExcellent organizational skillsStrong collaborator with people from different parts of the organization and with different culturesSense of urgency and be a serviceable personProblem-solver mindsetA systematic and organized approach to workKnowledge of 4-stroke engines and experience with high and medium voltage Why you and usYou will be a part of a global organization with a local presence and work in an exciting and dynamic working environment with highly motivated and skilled co-workers.
