Manufacturing Process Specialist

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or industrial engineering and experience in process development, optimization, and maintenance. The Process Engineer will be responsible for designing, validating, and improving production processes to meet efficiency and quality goals. This includes supporting new product launches, implementing Lean Manufacturing initiatives, conducting time studies, and providing technical support to production, maintenance, and quality teams. Key Responsibilities: Design, validate, and improve production processes to meet efficiency and quality goals. Support new product launches by developing process flows, layouts, and documentation. Implement Lean Manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste and improve productivity. Conduct time studies, capacity analysis, and ergonomic assessments. Lead PFMEA reviews and update control plans with cross-functional teams. Ensure compliance with IATF/ISO standards and customer requirements. Provide technical support to production, maintenance, and quality teams. Identify root causes of process issues and implement corrective actions. Promote continuous improvement culture and best practices across the plant. Requirements A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field is required. 3+ years of experience as a Process Engineer in automotive or advanced manufacturing is necessary. Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma methodologies is required. Hands-on experience in plastic injection molding, assembly, or automation is also beneficial. Proficiency in CAD software and MS Office is expected. Bilingual skills (Spanish & English) for technical communication with global teams are desirable.
