General Plant Operations Director

We are seeking an experienced Plant General Manager to lead our daily operations and drive business success. Job Description The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of plant operations, from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed. They will develop processes that maximize stewardship, safety, quality and productivity. Key Responsibilities: Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to meet customer expectations Increase production, asset capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions Develop and maintain effective working relationships with staff and other stakeholders Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and optimize productivity and efficiency Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations Contribute to the development of systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and performance metrics Address employee issues or grievances and administer collective bargaining agreements Requirements To succeed in this role, you will need: A minimum of 5 years experience in a senior management position Proven track record of achieving business objectives and driving growth Excellent leadership and communication skills Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions Knowledge of production management best practices and concepts Benefits This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team and take your career to the next level.
