Participation in International Projects ERP Functional Consultant – Oracle Cloud General Ledger (GL) Language: Advanced English required (client-facing role) About The Role We are looking for a highly motivated Oracle ERP Cloud General Ledger (GL) Functional Consultant to join our growing nearshore team supporting US-based clients. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring, implementing, and supporting Oracle Cloud Financials, ensuring accurate financial processing and reporting. You will collaborate closely with Finance and IT stakeholders in a dynamic, international environment, helping drive successful ERP implementations and continuous improvements. Key Responsibilities Configure and support Oracle Cloud General Ledger (GL) Design and maintain Chart of Accounts (COA) and enterprise structures Support Record-to-Report (R2R) processes and financial operations Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements Support subledger integrations and accounting flows into GL Prepare functional documentation and solution designs Execute System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Assist with data migration, reconciliation, and cutover activities Support month-end and year-end close processes Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvements Act as a functional subject matter expert (SME) ensuring compliance and best practices Required Qualifications 2–4+ years of experience as an Oracle Cloud GL Functional Consultant Strong hands-on experience with: Ledger configuration (primary and secondary ledgers) Journal processing Period open/close activities Enterprise Structures & COA Experience designing and validating: Chart of Accounts (COA) Accounting calendars Multi-currency environments Understanding of how COA impacts downstream modules Record-to-Report (R2R) Solid understanding of end-to-end R2R processes Ability to support accounting flows from subledgers into GL Subledger Accounting Working knowledge of Subledger Accounting (SLA) Familiarity with Accounting Hub (FAH) integrations Accounting Knowledge Strong foundation in: Core accounting principles Financial controls Month-end and year-end close Language Advanced English (spoken and written) – required for US client interaction Nice to Have Oracle Cloud Financials certification (General Ledger) Experience with reporting tools: Smart View OTBI BI Publisher Exposure to data migration: FBDI templates Historical balance migration Cutover reconciliation support #J-18808-Ljbffr
