A Labor Relations Manager oversees employee relations, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations, negotiating collective bargaining agreements, and fostering positive workplace relationships. About the Role This role involves managing employee relations to ensure a productive work environment, complying with relevant labor laws, and maintaining effective communication with employees and management. Negotiating Collective Bargaining Agreements: The incumbent will negotiate CBAs with labor unions, establishing terms related to wages, benefits, and working conditions. Policy Development and Implementation: Develop and implement policies and procedures related to employee communications, performance management, and discipline. Training and Guidance: Provide training to management and employees on labor relations topics, helping to ensure that all parties understand their rights and responsibilities under labor agreements. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, minimizing risks associated with non-compliance. Key Responsibilities Skill Set Bachelor's degree in human resources, labor relations, business administration +10 years of experience in labor relations or human resources, with a strong emphasis on negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Experience in Automotive Industry
