This is a unique opportunity to lead the safe and efficient operation of a world-class passenger vessel, ensuring both maritime excellence and an exceptional guest experience. Job Summary:TheCruise Ship Masteris the highest-ranking officer onboard and holds overall command of the vessel, crew, passengers, and operations. The Master ensures the safe navigation, regulatory compliance, efficient operation, and guest satisfaction in alignment with company policies, international maritime law, and flag state requirements. Key Responsibilities: Assumefull responsibility for vessel safety , security, and operational integrityNavigate the vessel safely and efficiently according to voyage plans, weather, and sea conditionsEnsure full compliance withSOLAS, MARPOL, ISM, ISPS, MLC , and other maritime regulationsSupervise and support department heads (Hotel Director, Chief Engineer, Staff Captain, etc.)Represent the company in all official capacities, including with port authorities and inspection teamsConduct regularemergency drills and safety briefingsfor crew and passengersMaintain proper logs, reports, certificates, and official documentation onboardAct as thefinal authority on disciplinary matters, emergencies, and decision-makingFoster asafety and service-oriented cultureamong the crewOversee environmental compliance, fuel efficiency, and navigational technology managementProvide onboard leadership and uphold company brand and service standardsQualifications & Experience: ValidSTCW Master Unlimited Certificate of CompetencyMinimum5 years’ experienceas Master or Staff Captain on large passenger vesselsValidGMDSS, ECDIS, BRM, ARPA, Medical First Aid, Security Awareness , and other relevant endorsementsExcellent command of English (written and verbal); additional languages are a plusFamiliarity with bridge systems, electronic charting, and integrated ship systemsStrong leadership, communication, and crisis management skillsExperience withclass, flag state, PSC, and vetting inspectionsImpeccable safety and environmental recordAdditional Requirements: Validpassportandseafarer medical certificate (ENG1 or equivalent)Clean criminal background checkFlexible for4:2 or 3:3 rotational contractsHigh level of professionalism, discretion, and integrityBenefits: Competitive tax-free salaryPrivate accommodation onboardTravel arrangements and full uniform providedOpportunities for career progression within the fleetAccess to guest and crew facilities during off-duty hours
