EHS Health and Safety Specialist

Role Overview: We are seeking a diligent Health and Safety Engineer to lead our environmental protection efforts and ensure compliance with safety regulations. This position will be responsible for inspecting facilities, identifying potential hazards, and recommending measures to mitigate risks. Additionally, you will develop and implement training programs to educate employees on health and safety best practices, conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement, and investigate incidents to prevent future occurrences. Key Responsibilities Include: Conduct thorough facility inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions. Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for employees on health and safety protocols. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive EHS initiatives and improve workplace safety. Investigate incidents and near-miss events to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry standards to ensure compliance. Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a health and safety role, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector. Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations and standards.
