HSE Safety Leader

HSE Safety Leader Objective We have a critical need to strengthen the safety and risk prevention culture within our operations. As our operations grow in size, employee numbers, and process complexity, we require a specialized role to coordinate, supervise, and implement comprehensive workplace safety strategies. Main Responsibilities Analyze strategies for legal and regulatory compliance Evaluate risks identified by the plants and coordinate SITE strategies and annexes Develop preventive program strategies Implement and monitor the regional occupational health and safety management system Support certifications and external audits of the system Position Requirements Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering or related fields; master's degree preferred Experience with safety legislation (Federal, State, Municipal), ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Certification Skills in risk analysis, strategic leadership, developing and implementing strategic plans, leading multidisciplinary teams, change management, and networking At Nemak, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (D&I) are fundamental to our culture.
