Warehouse Specialist

A global manufacturing company is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to ensure efficient warehouse operations, accurate inventory management, and compliance with safety and quality standards. This role will play a key part in supporting production continuity, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement in materials handling and storage processes. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field (preferred). 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations within manufacturing (automotive industry preferred). Strong knowledge of inventory control, material flow, and warehouse management systems (WMS/ERP such as SAP). Experience in shipping, receiving, and materials handling. Understanding of lean manufacturing and 5S methodologies. Forklift operation knowledge/certification is a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work cross-functionally with logistics, production, and quality teams. Intermediate English for communication in global environments. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily warehouse operations: receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping. Ensure accurate inventory control through cycle counts and system transactions. Maintain compliance with customer requirements and internal quality standards. Monitor material flow to support production schedules and avoid shortages. Implement and sustain Lean/5S practices in the warehouse. Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed by warehouse personnel. Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics with carriers and suppliers. Train and supervise warehouse staff to ensure efficiency and accuracy. Support audits (internal, customer, and regulatory) related to warehouse and materials management. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize space, processes, and costs.
