Me Welding Supervisor

Job Description:Responsabilities:- Develop design and processes for welded components, both in support of improvements to existing products and new products- Operate in a matrixed engineering team to ensure high quality deliverables in accordance with customer requirements, business procedures and regulatory agency guidelines.- Perform metallurgical analysis of weldments based on familiarity with the physical and welding metallurgy.- Demonstrate familiarity or expertise with the following welding processes: MIG- Assist engineers in weld joint design concepts and design for component producibility while maintaining focus to assessing causality and risk.- Provide technical support through Sourcing for fabricator assessment and interfaces.- Troubleshoot welding issues; provide and support implementation of solutions- Prepare invention disclosures to protect the technology that provides a competitive advantage to the business- Create schedules and work estimates for welding projects to meet business and customer needs**Requirements**:- B.S. Degree in Engineering. Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering Technology. Other degrees will be considered with appropriate experience.- 5 + years of experience in a Welding Manufacturing Environment.- Must have the ability to develop standard work.- Experience with the setup of welding equipments.- Experience creating methods and processes required to manufacture.- Experience in GMAW, GTAW & FCAW welding process.- Experience in Carbon Steels & Aluminum Steel.- Experience developing PQRs, WPSs & WPQs.- Root cause analysis for manufacturing and welding issues.- Experience working with automatic and/or robotic welding process.- Knowledge in NDE and DE for qualifications and analysis.- Experience implementing lean practices.- Demonstrated team player and team leader qualities.- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.- Experience providing manufacturing solutions in a production environment- Speak english - Bussiness level.If you are interested in an open position but feel you may not meet all the listed qualifications, we still encourage you to apply.Terex Overview:At Terex, we fully embrace the increasingly diverse world around us and strive to create an empowering and welcoming workplace culture.
