Technical Writer

Mighty Buildings is a venture-backed construction technology company based in Oakland, CAWe are disrupting the construction industry by creating beautiful, sustainable, and high-quality homes using 3D printing, advanced materials, and robotics automation.We are looking for a **Technical writer** who will describe production processes, develop equipment documentation together with our engineers in English and Spanish. The work requires the creation of strict documentation on our templates for internal use, as well as for sending to our contractors and various legal authorities, creating new templates, etc. It is required to be like in our production, communicate with engineers, managers, and workers.**WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING**:- Development of documentation for assembly operations together with our engineers- Development of operating manuals- Development of manuals for troubleshooting- Development of datasheets- Participation in the assembly of equipment - it is necessary to photograph and shoot a video of the assembly, adjustment, production process- Development of a documentation storage system**WHAT'S REQUIRED**:- Experience in manufacturing or hardware development- Experience in developing technical and user documentation in English and Spanish;- Ability to write clear, concise, structured technical texts;- The ability to quickly and efficiently structure various, including large, volumes of technical information, attentiveness to the smallest details.- Project team skills (communication with the project manager, workers, engineers)- Can travel at least 15% of the time, both domestically and internationally.- Fluent English and Spanish
