About this role ">As a Payroll Operations Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing payroll processing operations and ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. This involves managing a team of payroll clerks, overseeing end-to-end payroll processing, and improving payroll workflows. ">Key responsibilities: ">">Lead a team of Payroll Clerks, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure smooth payroll operations. ">Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, including intake of time cards, payroll statement generation, and system uploads. ">Ensure accuracy and compliance with payroll regulations, tax requirements, and company policies. ">Review and validate payroll data to minimize errors and discrepancies before processing. ">Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries. ">Maintain payroll records, update employee data (e.g., job title changes, exemptions, deductions), and generate payroll reports. ">Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy. "> ">Requirements ">To be successful in this role, you should have: ">">2+ years of payroll processing experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or senior payroll role. ">A strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax deductions, and compliance requirements. ">Excellent attention to detail, organization, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. ">Strong written and verbal English communication skills. ">A high degree of technical literacy, with expertise in spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets). ">Experience working with payroll software and systems. ">Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve payroll discrepancies efficiently.
