Manufacturing and Sand Casting Specialist

Job Title: Manufacturing and Sand Casting Expert Location: Remote with domestic travel required. Shift: Flexible as needed dedicated upon deployment. Key Responsibilities: We are seeking a seasoned expert in manufacturing and sand casting to join our team. As a subcontracted advisor through Belcan, you will deploy to our customers as needed to support projects related to Manufacturing and Sand Castling engineering needs. You will be responsible for deploying to customer locations, working on-site at customers and/or customer suppliers to assess, mitigate, consult, identify, and administer outcomes. Your duties will include troubleshooting major material process problems, evaluating scrap out-of-flow material, implementing existing or developing new approaches and special projects to solve the issues. You will also provide technical expert knowledge, guidance, and hands-on work on metal casting processes using sand molds. Additionally, you will be involved in presenting on-site information processes, customer procedures, supporting documentation, forms, drawings, production, inspections, quality resolution, etc. Requirements: Professional degree Bilingual candidate (fluent/conversational in English and Spanish) 10+ years of experience as a seasoned specialist and Subject Matter Expert (SME) within manufacturing and sand casting processes Mexico national citizenship or foreign citizenship with valid work visa or permit required PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: Mechanical aptitude and understanding of design for manufacturing concepts Hands-on experience in the shop/manufacturing environment Understanding of Mechanics of Materials and Structural Design Knowledge of CAD Modeling (2D, 3D) Proficiency in MS Office products Experience with Cost reduction
