We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Regional WAN Product & Service Manager to oversee and manage the service delivery and service assurance of WAN services — including MPLS-VPN, EVPL, IEPL/IPLC, and Submarine cable solutions—across our South American operations. This role requires a results-driven professional with strong ownership, excellent communication and coordination skills, and a deep understanding of the telecom landscape in various South American countries. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in local network service providers, possess outstanding cross-cultural communication abilities, and demonstrate the capability to drive project delivery and post-sales service improvement in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. Geographic Scope of Responsibility: • Northern Region – Mexico, Guatemala, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Panama, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador • Southern Region – Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Suriname Key Responsibilities: Service Delivery & Customer Experience: Coordinate local vendors and external resources to ensure timely and quality delivery of enterprise customer projects in the region. Liaise with BMO to facilitate project implementation and resolve site-related issues. Proactively identify issues arising from vendors, service operations, or on-site customer environments during the delivery process; mobilize internal and external teams to address them promptly, ensuring on-time delivery and high customer satisfaction. Service Assurance: Work closely with the NOC and operations teams to respond promptly to escalated incidents, coordinating with external vendors (including last mile, backbone, and colocation providers) to ensure timely fault resolution within agreed service timelines. Maintain strong working relationships with local vendors and partners, and provide region-specific recommendations for optimizing backbone and local access circuits, continuously improving service quality and customer satisfaction. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to local regulations, industry standards, and company policies across South American markets. Proactively identify operational risks and implement mitigation plans. Candidate Requirements: Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications / IT / Engineering, or related field. 10+ years of experience in service management, operations, or customer success within the telecommunications industry or WAN services. 2+ years of working experience in multinational environment, Candidates who have worked for Chinese enterprises will be given priority consideration. Technical & Professional Skills: In-depth knowledge of telecom infrastructure (e.g., fiber optics) and WAN Services. Language & Cultural Competencies: For candidates based in Mexico: Native Spanish speaker with fluent English proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. For candidates based in Brazil: Native Portuguese speaker with fluent English proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Demonstrated ability to work effectively across diverse cultures in South America (e.g., Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Chile). Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure. Strong negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
