You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment to create robust and scalable data pipelines and interfaces to power Nava’s service offerings. This role emphasizes back-end development, though there is some front-end web app tools development. As part of their growth, they are seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join the team and play a key role in building and scaling their core platform. This role offers the opportunity to work on products that directly improve the lives of employees and their families, while also collaborating with a talented engineering team in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Responsibilities: Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and services across the stack. Build robust and reusable UI components using modern React practices (hooks, context, etc.). Develop APIs and backend services using Node.js frameworks (NestJS, Express, etc.). Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices. Participate in code reviews, provide mentorship to junior engineers, and contribute to technical discussions. Ensure application performance, security, and scalability across environments. Engage in Agile ceremonies and collaborate on sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives. Mandatory Skills Description: 6+ years of software engineering experience. Very importantly, be able to operate in a fast-paced, startup environment that prioritizes development speed and quality. Working experience with data pipelines and integrations, using cloud infrastructure and cloud platforms in AWS. Proficient with back-end development that covers experience in developing APIs (REST or GraphQL) and working with data models and data tables. Proficient with wep application development using React (hooks, context, etc.) and typescript. Working knowledge with python programming. Proficient with Postgres Database and SQL. Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and unit/integration testing frameworks. Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Bonus: working knowledge in Playwright, Cypress, or other E2E testing tools. Our Tech Stack Frontend: React / Vite / Next.js Backend: Node / Nest.js / Express.js API: REST / Graphql Database: Postgres Data Platforms: Salesforce, Airbyte, Dagster, Parabola, DBT Infrastructure: AWS Nice-to-Have Skills Description: Nice to Have Experience with Next.js, React Query, or Redux Toolkit. Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud services. Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or microservices architecture. Exposure to Playwright, Cypress, or other E2E testing tools. Experience working within Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
