Job Title: LabVIEW Engineer (Automotive) Location: (USA) Duration: (Full-Time) Industry: Automotive Job Summary We are looking for a LabVIEW Engineer to support automotive testing, validation, and automation activities. The role involves developing test applications, automating test benches, and validating automotive ECUs and systems using NI LabVIEW and related tools. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain LabVIEW-based test applications for automotive systems Design and automate test benches, HIL/SIL test setups , and validation frameworks Perform functional, performance, and regression testing of ECUs Interface with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet) Integrate NI hardware (PXI, cDAQ, cRIO, DAQ systems) Analyze test data, generate reports, and support issue debugging Collaborate with hardware, software, and validation teams Required Skills & Qualifications Strong experience with NI LabVIEW (development and debugging) Knowledge of automotive ECUs and vehicle systems Hands-on experience with CAN, LIN (FlexRay/Ethernet is a plus) Familiarity with NI TestStand, VeriStand (preferred) Understanding of HIL / SIL testing concepts Basic scripting knowledge (Python, MATLAB is a plus) Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Automotive Engineering Experience in automotive validation or test engineering Exposure to ISO 26262 or automotive testing standards Nice to Have Experience with dSPACE, Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer) Knowledge of automation frameworks and CI testing
