As a Cost Engineer, you will: Analyze technical variable and tooling costs using activity-based costing methodologies. Work directly from Bills of Materials (BOM), engineering drawings, and component samples. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Purchasing, Vehicle Programs) to drive cost targets and support vehicle milestones. Evaluate supplier quotes and support negotiations during RFQs and change requests. Propose cost-saving initiatives aligned with Design to Cost strategies. Utilize Stellantis internal tools, cost databases, and benchmarking resources for analysis and reporting. Your Technical Scope We're seeking someone with at least 1 year of experience in design and/or costing of: Low Voltage Wiring High Voltage Wiring Connectors & Wiring Components Starters & Motors 12V Batteries Charging Inlets Your Deliverables Detailed cost analysis for vehicle program teams and stakeholders. Updates to internal cost tracking systems and KPIs. Documentation of technical cost-saving ideas in the Portfolio Cost Opportunities database. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, or Engineering. At least 1 year of relevant experience in electrical automotive components (design, release, processing, or cost estimation). Familiarity with automotive manufacturing processes and cost drivers. Strong analytical and communication skills. English proficiency (written and verbal). Comfortable working across global teams and time zones. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Master's degree in Business or Engineering Management. Experience with NX and Teamcenter.
