Core Functional Skills in SAP Product Costing About the Role SAP CO-PC Knowledge (Controlling – Product Costing): Responsibilities Product Cost Planning (PCP) – cost estimates, BOMs, routings. Cost Object Controlling (COC) – production orders, process orders, sales order costing. Material Ledger – actual costing, parallel valuation. Overhead calculation – costing sheets, overhead rates. Settlement – of production/process orders, internal orders. Qualifications FI (Financial Accounting): Understanding of how cost flows integrate into FI. MM (Materials Management): Procurement and inventory valuation. PP (Production Planning): Production orders, routings, work centers. SD (Sales & Distribution): Sales order costing and revenue flow.
