Video Interpreter Responsibilities: Provide effective video remote interpreting service for clients Professional and courteous behavior Strong ability and passion for interpretation and customer service Knowledge of the interpreter Code of Ethics At least 2 years of medical interpreting experience VRI Technology Requirements: Windows based PC with Windows 10 or 11 updated to the latest version and have updates enabled for both OS and other Microsoft products. A good quality USB headset that has noise cancellation in the microphone A Stable ETHERNET connection connected directly to the modem. Spoken Language Qualifications: Fluent and have strong verbal communication skills in both, English and Spanish. Must have at least 2-5 years of medical interpreting experience. Credentialed in medical interpreting preferred Respect for and understanding of our Limited English Proficient (LEP) clients, culture, dialect and beliefs and preferences as it relates to legal/medical care. Familiarity with the medical profession and its privacy laws (HIPAA) as well as other state and federals laws applied to medical interpreting. Job Type: Contract Rate: $.18/per min
