We provide a customer-focused approach to building authentic partnerships with our clients with objective counsel from concept to deployment for a consistent voice through the dynamic IT environment.Objective: Administer and maintain AIX servers.Responsibilities:· Administer AIX servers daily.· Build and manage clustered systems.· Handle backup and recovery.Experience:· 3+ years in IT and AIX Server administration.· Experience with L1 support.Skills:· AIX VMs, PowerVM, Power Firmware, HMC administration.· Knowledge of Virtualization, LPM, NPIV, SAN storage, PowerVC.· Experience with PowerHA System mirror.· ITSM help desk experience.Duties:· Build AIX servers as per project specifications.· Work with Enterprise class backup solution.· Administer Linux/Unix Systems.· Maintain software and system patches.· Knowledge of UNIX Shell Scripting, Perl.· Install VIO Server, LPARS, AIX through NIM Server.· Manage patches and deployments.· Troubleshoot server, software, hardware issues.· Support Web access, electronic messaging services, maintain a secure system environment.
