Your expertise will help maintain the company's reputation for delivering high-quality and cost-efficient solutions.Key Responsibilities:Prepare Detailed Estimates: Analyze blueprints and specifications to produce accurate cost assessmentsCollaborate with Project Managers: Develop precise bids that balance quality and cost-effectivenessMaintain Organized Records: Keep meticulous documentation of estimates, bids, and contractsMaterial Takeoffs: Conduct accurate takeoffs to ensure smooth project planningRisk & Cost Evaluation: Assess scope, risks, and budget to guarantee on-time, on-budget deliveryQualifications:5+ years of experience in construction estimating, preferably within the plumbing industryProficiency in blueprint reading, Microsoft Excel, and estimating/takeoff softwareIn-depth knowledge of plumbing codes and industry standardsStrong project management skills, including cost control and schedulingExcellent analytical skills and keen attention to detailStrong negotiation abilities to secure competitive pricing from vendorsOutstanding communication skills for collaboration with clients and teamsRelevant education or certifications in plumbing estimation are a plus
