Summary This role will lead a team of collectors, collaborate with company leaders, and establish positive professional relationships with customers.This individual will be responsible for a monetary portfolio of $10M – $30M consisting of customers in the United States.ResposibilitiesResponsible for operations and efficiencies of a Collections Team.Ensures the adherence and effectiveness to the collection process within daily operational procedures affectinginitiatives/projects to enable the timely collection of cash.Performs account monitoring and collection of all customer accounts.Supports and monitors the resolution of customer issues and billing problems – escalating when required tosenior management.Works closely with internal senior management in pursuing outstanding customer balances.AR Metrics analysis and Reporting responsibilities.Hosting Collections Meetings with internal and external parties.Responsible for interviewing and hiring staff members, providing training, creating work schedules.Research, develop and implement collection procedures that reduce the amount of delinquency they encounter.Develop goals that complement the overarching business goals of the company and coordinate staff tocontinually meet and exceed goals.SkillsetManagement experienceMust be proficient with Microsoft Office SuiteAdvanced Excel skills including formulas for data calculations, use of VLookups, Pivot Tables, data validation,creating complex charts and graphs based on data.Must be a driven, self-starter, who is adaptive and has the ability to work collaboratively within a teamenvironment.Must have a leader, not “boss,” mentalityMust possess strong analytical skills, possess strong communication skills, and operate well within a fastpacedculture.Ability to communicate effectively with others, at all levels throughout the organization.Interpersonal and negotiation skillsAbility to work under pressureQualifications5+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable/Collections position2+ years managing and developing employeesBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance(or equivalent experience)
