Tool Maker – Plastics Injection Molding (2nd or 3rd Shift) We are seeking an experienced Tool Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in plastics injection molding and be highly skilled in the repair, modification, and building of molds and dies. This position is hands-on and requires strong machining and organizational skills in a tool room environment.Key Responsibilities:Perform die and mold repairs, including disassembly and reassemblyOperate lathes, grinders, and other traditional tool room machines and equipmentSet up and operate CNC machines Perform various machining operations to support tool repairs and modificationsConduct in-machine and out-of-machine tool repairsUtilize EDM machines (a plus)Weld using MIG, TIG, or laser methods (preferred)Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentQualifications:Minimum 3 years of experience as a Tool Maker in a plastics injection molding settingJourneyman mold maker certification or equivalent experienceStrong knowledge of machine tool operations (lathe, mill, etc.)CNC and/or EDM experience preferredWelding experience is a plusExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailStrong verbal and written communication skillsPhysical Requirements:Must be able to bend, twist, reach, push, pull, stand, walk, and perform repetitive wrist motionCapable of lifting up to 50 lbs (mechanical aids available for heavier loads)If you’re a skilled Tool Maker looking to join a team where your expertise will be valued and your craftsmanship put to good use, we encourage you to apply.
