The Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for managing employee attendance, payroll processing, benefits administration, and performance management. This role requires a deep understanding of Mexican labor laws and industry best practices to ensure compliance and employee satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:1. Attendance Management:- Monitor and track employee attendance, including punctuality, absences, and overtime.- Implement and enforce attendance policies in accordance with Mexican labor laws.- Address attendance issues promptly and maintain accurate records.2. Payroll Processing:- Calculate and process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with Mexican Federal Labor Law and local regulations.- Manage payroll-related inquiries and resolve any discrepancies.- Coordinate with finance and accounting teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.3. Benefits Administration:- Administer employee benefits programs subject to company policies.- Ensure compliance with mandatory benefits.- Communicate benefits information to employees and assist with enrollment and changes.4. Performance Management:- Assisting in developing and implementing performance management systems to evaluate employee performance.- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to employees.- Work with managers to set performance goals and objectives.5. Compliance and Reporting:- Stay updated on changes in Mexican labor laws and regulations to ensure company compliance.- Prepare and maintain accurate HR records and reports.- Assist with internal and external audits as needed.Qualifications:- Education:- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.- Relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are a plus.- Experience:- Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources, preferably in a manufacturing environment.- Proven experience in payroll processing and benefits administration.- Skills:- Strong knowledge of Mexican labor laws and regulations.- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and HRIS systems.- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.- Bilingual (Spanish and English) is highly desirable.- Personal Attributes:- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
