Job PurposeAs a Research Analyst, you will primarily be responsible for executing market research that lives up to our reputation as leaders in tech-led innovation. You will be capable of using the methods, platforms, and ways of thinking that the business prioritizes.A Research Analyst takes day-to-day responsibility for coordinating and delivering project work, with a key focus on exemplary material design, preparation and organization of materials for successful fieldwork, analysis of insights (both qual and quant), and writing exceptional client deliverables and/or proposals. You can execute these tasks confidently and independently with minimal support from a Director (unless working on particularly complex projects). You are visible to clients, who trust you to be on top of tasks, and deliver exceptional quality at all times.You help grow our business organically through the delivery of great work and repeat business.Role Key AccountabilitiesYou will be responsible for but not limited to:Vision and strategyDemonstrating alignment on the vision and strategic direction of the business to help execute it across the teamProfitability and financial oversight• Working with the PMs to manage costs in line with the budget – looking at ways to save cost (without sacrificing quality) at all times.Brand building• Supporting the senior team on initiatives where needed such as marketing, industry training, preparation of conference papers etc.Client growth• Creating best-in-class proposals and pitch documents• Supporting the senior team on projects and new business initiatives where needed – helping prepare NBD decks and providing client and therapy area context• Creates a strong positive impression of the brand with clients• Constantly looking for opportunities to grow each client account• Always thinking about what we can offer to demonstrate our innovation / differenceResearch and client servicing excellence• Independently manage all aspects of projects and client liaison – not waiting to be told what to do but working collaboratively with others to execute to the team vision• Able to manage up to ensure timelines are met and nothing is missed• Ensuring project timelines are met, including anticipating potential issues and proactively suggesting solutions• Working with the PM team for the smooth running of project logistics / finances• Excellent time management and organization; works across multiple projects simultaneously and knows how to prioritize tasks• Providing exceptional client servicing so clients never have to ask – we are always one step aheadTech and AI integration• Master the use of company-approved tech and AI tools and use them daily to enhance efficiency and work quality• Encourage and mentor others on how to use technology and AI effectively i.e. the creation of GPTs and the use of other tools to save time on repetitive tasksWithin projects:• Able to work on multiple projects at once• Independently writing and updating complex screeners, discussion guides, questionnaires, debriefs etc.• Writes exceptional proposals with support of the senior team• Request and review costings from PMs• Embracing new ways of working – qual and quant• Analyzing and identifying the ‘so what’ from findings and develop clear and actionablerecommendations for clients• Great at visualizing data / information and report writingA high performing, motivated team and culture• Helping create a positive, inspiring company culture – the company that everyone wants to work for and with• Line management, training, mentoring and development of others within your team• Leading by example• Always having a positive and professional attitude• Staying calm under pressure• Sharing your experience with others so they grow• Keep mandatory training; i.e. FrankCrum and BHBIA up to date at all times3. Knowledge and Experience• Exceptional English for business use, fluent in conversation as well as written English• Minimum 6 years’ experience in healthcare market research or highly related field• Excellent, proven research skills• Highly proficient at PowerPoint• Competent at Excel and Word• Excellent project management skills, communication and active listening skills, teamworking, time management, ownership, and ability to work under pressure• Able to multi-task and juggle multiple projects at once4. Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)Confidently manages key aspects of projects with minimal support, including but not limited to:Writes high quality proposals, building on project team input/direction, that require minimal changesConsistently produces high quality first drafts of research materials (screeners, discussion guides, questionnaires, presentations etc.) with the support of the project leadSets us up for successful fieldwork by writing moderator briefing decks; builds/programs, reviews and analyzes pre-work tasks during fieldworkConducts data analysis efficiently and accurately, including thorough note-taking on interviews (qual)Ensures AE/PQC reports are submitted in a timely manner during fieldworkConfidently writes exceptional research reports (in English, both qual and quant) that answer the client’s key business questions clearly and succinctly, creating compelling story-led decks with strong data visualizationHelps answer client/team questions in real time during debriefsWorks with others or independently to create enhanced deliverables, such as videoclip montages, GenAI videos, interactive infographics, etc. that surprise and delight our clientsAssists in the setup, design and running of key client meetings and workshops virtually2. Always looking for and experimenting with new ways to enhance how we can analyze research and write/structure our debriefs, such as using a variety of frameworks (BeSci or otherwise), or through technology3.
