Indirect Category Sourcing Manager

Job Overview This role involves managing indirect categories to achieve business objectives. The successful candidate will develop and implement sourcing strategies, monitor key performance indicators, and maintain supplier relationships. Sourcing Strategy Development Create and execute comprehensive sourcing plans to drive business value. Analyze market trends, industry developments, and geo-political influences to inform sourcing decisions. Supplier Management Cultivate and manage relationships with suppliers to optimize business outcomes. Maintain supplier contracts, terms, and conditions in line with company policies. Reporting and Analysis Develop and deliver category reporting to senior leadership, highlighting key insights and recommendations. Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., supply chain management, business administration). 5+ years of experience in indirect sourcing, with a focus on assigned categories or commodities. Skills and Abilities Working knowledge of value stream mapping, total cost of ownership, outsourcing/off-shoring, supplier diversity, and sustainability. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to effectively communicate with C-Suite executives. Other Requirements Able to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.
