Customs Compliance SupervisorThis role is within Chamberlain Group's Operations and Supply Chain group. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Legally represents and holds power of attorney on behalf of Chamberlain Group to conduct all customs licensed brokerage business, and (ii) Manage and update (US/MX) Customs tariff schedules for all imports and exports in all customs' systems. Requires 3+ years in an analyst role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment or customs related field and a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business administration, International Business, Supply Chain, or Management or equivalent work experience.Legally represents and holds power of attorney on behalf of Chamberlain Group to conduct all customs licensed brokerage businessManage and update (US/MX) Customs tariff schedules for all imports and exports in all customs' systemsSupervise the (US/MX & International) customs clearance process for imports, exports and red lighted cargoResponsible for ensuring (US/MX) new/updated customs rules and regulations are understood and communicated through the customs groupSupervises the crossdocking functions in the U.S. to ensure that material and MRO received is crossed to Chamberlain Group in a timely mannerResponsible for procuring (US/MX) import customs permits for special commodities and raw materials from various Mexican government entitiesResponsible for customs systems updates as communicated by (US/MX) Customs to ensure continued complianceMaintain a good working relationship with both U.S. and Mexican Customs agenciesResponsible for cross training Customs team members across all roles to ensure coverage of all tasks and dutiesResponsible for preparing and submitting monthly and annual reporting to applicable government agenciesContribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as neededMotivate and lead a high-performance team by attracting, developing, engaging and retaining team membersDrive the performance management and compensation processes by communicating job expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing feedback and facilitating employee development per the company’s policiesLead and motivate individuals and teams to create a workplace culture that is consistent with the Chamberlain Group mission, vision and values.Education/Certifications:Bachelor’s degree in business administration, International Business, Supply Chain, or Management or equivalent work experience.Experience:3+ years in an analyst role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment or customs related field.Supervisory experienceKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Intermediate MS-Office SkillsStrong analytical skillsKnowledge of US/MX Customs ComplianceOther:Valid Driver's LicenseProficient English Level (written and spoken)
