Job Title: Materials Manager Job Description: The Materials Manager is a critical role within our manufacturing organization. This position oversees all material management functions in assigned production areas, ensuring the efficient flow of materials throughout the facility. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. The successful candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of implementing process improvements and driving results. Key responsibilities include supervising material management functions, participating in continuous improvement projects, tracking and maintaining metrics on the Management for Daily Improvement (MDI), and establishing action plans to address gaps. Additionally, this role involves ensuring optimal allocation of resources across the team, monitoring order status and delivery schedules, and reviewing daily accuracy reports to identify discrepancies. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a high-performance team. A Bachelor's degree and prior supervisory or engineering experience are required for this role.
