The Materials Manager is responsible for leading the planning, procurement, control, and efficient flow of materials to ensure uninterrupted production and on-time delivery to customers. This role ensures optimal inventory management, cost control, and compliance with corporate and legal requirements across the supply chain.Key Responsibilities- Lead the functions of materials planning, purchasing, warehousing, logistics, and traffic. - Ensure production schedules are met by securing material availability on time and in full. - Develop and execute sourcing strategies to optimize costs and minimize supply risks. - Implement inventory management policies that balance efficiency, cost, and customer service. - Monitor and improve KPIs such as inventory levels, turnover, obsolescence, OTIF, and forecast accuracy. - Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to maintain effective supply chain planning. - Drive continuous improvement projects in logistics, warehousing, and procurement to increase productivity and reduce costs. - Ensure compliance with corporate policies, trade regulations, and applicable legal requirements. - Develop, train, and motivate the materials team to achieve high performance.Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, International Trade, or related field (Master’s degree preferred). - 7+ years of experience in materials, logistics, or supply chain management within the manufacturing industry (automotive or Tier 1 experience preferred). - Proven experience leading cross-functional teams. - Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent). - Expertise in inventory management, procurement processes, and international trade. - Advanced English (required for corporate and international customer interaction). - Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
