Logistics Specialist II Position Summary: The Logistics Specialist II provides support for daily Logistics tasks to help facilitate the move of product both inbound and outbound. This includes providing service/support in working with both our Internal and External customers. This role will also be responsible for handling many areas within Logistics such as daily routings, tracking and tracing, quoting, reporting. This will help to provide Logistics Management in delivering safety, quality, delivery, cost, and growth performance levels. Support the Logistics Team to execute strategies, support operation excellence, and Regal’s growth and innovation needs. Major Responsibilities : Drives continuous improvement initiatives within department Support Regal Rexnord with weekly freight consolidations. Support the team with tracking and tracing information. Supplies tracking and reporting of Carrier Billing Accuracy through Monthly KPI’s Timely completion of preparing weekly/monthly KPI’s for Management Assigns and schedules shipments with appropriate Carriers for both Inbound and Outbound shipments. Analyze data to identify issues, opportunities and to help produce effective solutions. Collaborates across the Business Units and Functions to ensure shipments are moving efficiently and cost effectively. Provides routing direction for Mexico Shipments consisting of DC’s, Plants and Suppliers for all Businesses. Provides guidance to Corporate Logistics team members to manage Carrier issues and provide resolution. Responsible for the tracking of inbound and outbound shipping activities though the full purchase order lifecycle to ensure the plants, shipping schedules and transportation requirements are met. Own Certifications processed from Logistics Standpoint (CTPAT, OEA, BASC, ISO, etc) Special projects as assigned. Additional duties as assigned. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Business, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in import/export operations and trade compliance. Solid knowledge of Mexican customs regulations and foreign trade programs Conversational English
