In this role, you will have the opportunity to join the Finance department, helping in shape the future of the Finance processes. ABOUT THE ROLE The Senior Payroll Analyst is responsible for the daily operations related to payroll processing in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal procedures. The role ensures that all payroll activities meet the information needs of various stakeholders and that all financial data related to payroll accurately reflects the organization’s labor obligations. While the primary scope of this role is the payroll operation in Mexico, the analyst will also be part of the global Payroll team and may support additional operations across the Americas. Main responsibilities include: Perform a wide range of payroll functions including preparation, processing, distribution, and reporting, ensuring full compliance with all applicable regulations. Ensure accurate and timely end‑to‑end payroll processing across the LATAM region. Provide prompt, friendly, and efficient customer service to employees regarding payroll inquiries, deductions, and processes. Support payroll‑related audits and SOX compliance by following internal control requirements and maintaining complete and updated process documentation. Manage and complete all year‑end payroll activities, including filing reports, remittances, and returns with appropriate tax authorities. Calculate severance, final payments (finiquitos), and terminations. Execute payroll disbursement processes and special payment runs. Perform monthly and annual payroll closing activities and participate in payroll‑to‑accounting reconciliations. Ensure accurate execution of IDSE updates, variability calculations, SUA operations, and coordination of timely payments for social security and tax obligations. Guarantee compliance with all contractual and fiscal requirements established by IMSS, INFONAVIT, LFT, LISR, and ISN. Provide support during internal and external audits. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the payroll department. Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS /EXPERIENCE Minimum of 3–4+ years of full‑cycle payroll processing (desirable experience in LATAM countries like Mexico,Brazil, etc). Experience with termination calculations, holidays, taxation, e‑Social, FGTS, INSS, IMSS, SURA, Infonavit, etc. Advanced knowledge of SUA, IDSE, INFONAVIT, FONACOT, LFT, ISN, and ISR. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent diploma). Payroll-related professional certification preferred. Experience in high‑tech, high‑growth environments preferred. SAP experience is a plus. Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities. Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
