Role Summary: Join AMB Logistics as a Dispatch Coordinator, a pivotal role who will be the frontline representative in a dynamic company. This role is a highly organized and detail-oriented position responsible for scheduling and tracking of freight in Mexico, US, Canada, (including cross-border routes). You will ensure operational excellence through precise shipment tracking, carrier management, and strict adherence to documentation protocols acting as a crucial link between shippers, carriers, and customers. ✅ Key Responsibilities: - Improve the shipment lifecycle management by coordinating pick-ups and deliveries, ensuring all data matches according to customer’s requirements. - Ensure a proactive tracking along with timely communication by monitoring shipments and providing transparent updates to internal and external clients. - Negotiate and manage any dispute resolution of any on-road issues, including lumper fees, detentions and layovers. - Establish and maintain carrier relations by negotiating rates and secure capacity using tech-driven tools. - Obtain, validate and maintain accurate records of shipping documents and transactions. - Collaborate with team members to optimize operational processes. - Support in handling inquiries from potential clients and converting them to confirmed orders. - Focusing on optimizing daily workflows, reducing costs, and increasing efficiency in supply chains. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (preferred). - 2-3+ years of proven relevant logistics experience. - Bilingual (Spanish/English) for cross-border operations. Advanced english written and verbal required (90%). - Proficiency in transportation management system software. - Demonstrated expertise with Word, Excel and other Office suite applications. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating professionalism in all interactions in order to resolve issues. - Strong collaboration, teamwork, leader and organizational skills. - Ability to work under pressure and independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to interpret a variety of instructions provided in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form. - Analytical and reasoning skills for escalation to supervisor/leadership - Strong multitasking, prioritization, communication, and problem-solving abilities are essential to handle urgent, changing logistics situations. Nice to Haves: - Experience working in a remote setup. - Familiarity with freight load boards. - Drayage experience in Mexico and USA is a big plus.
