Enterprise Account Director Location: Mexico City / Remote (Mexico-based) Reports to: Pacto Co-Founders About Pacto Pacto is redefining payment experiences in Mexico. We partner with banks to deliver modern, data-driven software that transforms smart credit card terminals into powerful business tools. Our mission is to help financial institutions win more merchants, deepen relationships with their clients, and unlock new revenue streams. We’re looking for a dynamic Enterprise Account Director to drive strategic enterprise sales, with a focus on banking and large-scale fintech partnerships. This is a high-impact role for a results-driven relationship builder who can own opportunities end-to-end—from prospecting through to signed contracts. Key Responsibilities Drive Enterprise Sales – Identify, qualify, and close new enterprise-level opportunities, with a strong preference for deals in the banking sector. Map Decision-Making Structures – Quickly identify key stakeholders across business, product, and technology functions; build deep relationships across all levels. Own the Full Sales Cycle – Lead discovery, craft proposals, price opportunities, negotiate terms, and drive contract execution. Engage with Clients On-Site – Be present “in the halls” of our customers, uncovering ways to embed Pacto into their initiatives. Bridge Business & Technology – Speak fluently with business/product leaders and technical teams; understand software concepts (hosting, APIs, integration models) without needing to code. Collaborate Across Teams – Know when to bring in product, engineering, or leadership resources to advance opportunities. Champion the Relationship Post-Sale – Stay involved to ensure client satisfaction and identify expansion opportunities. Qualifications Proven Enterprise Sales Experience – 7+ years in software sales, preferably in fintech, banking, or software development agencies. Industry Insight – Deep understanding of how banks operate, including decision-making cycles and procurement processes. Relationship-Building Expertise – Track record of cultivating long-term, multi-stakeholder relationships. Technical Comfort – Ability to discuss and scope technical integrations, hosting options, and implementation considerations. Negotiation Skills – Skilled in structuring deals, handling objections, and closing complex contracts. Self-Starter Mentality – Operates with autonomy, urgency, and accountability for results. Personality & Presence – Naturally extroverted, high-energy connector who knows when to drive solo and when to rally the team. Gordon Whitehouse , Co-Founder & COO, is a technology entrepreneur with extensive experience building and scaling software platforms. Before founding Pacto, he led the creation of Apple’s in-house marketing automation and personalization platform, a secure, high-scale system powering global customer communications. Together, they bring a rare combination of deep financial industry relationships and world-class product and technology expertise to transform how banks in Mexico deliver modern payment experiences.
