The ideal candidate is a motivated, well-organized individual who has a deep understanding of prospecting and developing strong relationships with customers. Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for major MRO companies, ensuring strong, strategic partnerships. Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue and expand our footprint in the industrial and automotive sectors. Work closely with procurement and category managers at MRO distributors to secure product placements and promotional opportunities. Analyze Market Trends: Monitor sales performance, identify growth opportunities, and adjust strategies accordingly. Work with internal teams, including marketing, product management, and customer service, to align sales efforts with business objectives. Create territory-specific sales plans and forecast demand to ensure supply chain alignment. Travel as Needed: Maintain a strong presence in the field to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Qualifications Proven Sales Experience: 5+ years in MRO, industrial distribution and/or industrial sales, preferably with direct experience managing accounts like Grainger, Fastenal, Vallen, or Motion. Strong Negotiation & Relationship-Building Skills: Ability to engage with decision-makers and drive long-term partnerships. Strategic & Data-Driven Mindset: Comfortable analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and making data-backed decisions.
