As a Sales Engineer for emergency power plants, you will develop and execute sales strategies for the commercialization of emergency power plants (electric generators) both through direct channels and distributors, to meet sales objectives, brand positioning, and market expansion in Mexico. Main Responsibilities: Prospect and develop new clients in the industrial, commercial, residential, and governmental sectors. Manage relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and system integrators. Provide technical and commercial advice on emergency power plant solutions. Prepare quotations, commercial proposals, and after-sale follow-up. Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Train and provide technical/commercial support to distributors. Participate in fairs, exhibitions, and events in the energy sector. Monitor market trends, competition, and opportunities. Coordinate with logistics, engineering, and finance to ensure sales compliance. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field. A Bachelor's degree in Business Management with relevant technical experience may also be suitable. Minimum of 3 years in B2B technical or industrial sales. Proven experience in selling electrical generation or energy equipment. Experience working with distributors and direct sales. In-depth knowledge of electrical generation systems (diesel, gas) and the ability to read and interpret electrical plans and technical specifications. Proficiency in CRM, Office, and ERPs is desirable. Strong understanding of related Mexican regulations (NOM, CFE, etc.). Be located in Monterrey or Guadalajara. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Results-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities. Effective time management and ability to work under pressure. Capability to work both individually and as part of a team. Conversational English is desired.
