Desktop Security Specialist

TCS is seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Desktop Security Specialist. This position involves creating and deploying software updates, patches, configuration changes, and other remediation measures to address vulnerabilities. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of English, 3+ years of experience in IT with a focus on desktop engineering, strong understanding of workstation operating systems (Windows, macOS) and security vulnerabilities. Responsibilities include utilizing endpoint management tools to automate the deployment of remediation measures to workstations, developing and maintaining scripts and tools to automate remediation tasks and improve efficiency, and staying up-to-date on the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and exploits affecting workstation environments. Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and exploits affecting workstation environments. Required Skills We are looking for candidates with the following skills: Advanced knowledge of English. 3+ years of experience in IT, with a focus on desktop engineering. Strong understanding of workstation operating systems (Windows, macOS) and security vulnerabilities. Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automating tasks and data analysis. Experience with endpoint management tools (e.g., Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM/SCCM), Jamf).
