Responsible to create and send purchase orders to suppliers, following up from the time of creation until reception of the goods. In charge of maintaining optimal levels of raw materials designated thru demand, usage & forecast analysis. Continuous search to service improvement with suppliers & distributors, as well as improvement projects involving materials (savings, usage, etc.). Must search and propose options for approval to count with all raw materials on time according to customer needs, seeking for alternatives to sort out every-day supply chain issues. Comply with all stablished requirements for environment, health, safety, & Energy of Prysmian (General Cable de Mexico del Norte SA de CV.) Experience: 2 years in related positions Specific Knowledge: Purchasing, Materials Planning, Inventory Management, MRP, Produccion Planning, Usage/Demand/Forecasts Analysis. General Skills: Strong Analysis skills, Critical thinking, Leadership, Problem-Solving, Decision Making, Result Oriented, Creativity, Assertive Communication with Suppliers & Customers, Urgency Sense, Service Attitude, Negotiation Skills.
