Learn more at .Position Overview The Production Manager oversees all production operations at the Piedras Negras site, reporting to the Plant Manager. This role leads supervisors and field experts to build a best‑in‑class culture of safety, continuous improvement, and operational discipline. It ensures customer requirements are met while driving process improvement and collaborating with regional and global teams to elevate site performance.Primary ResponsibilitiesDrive safety as a core value and ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulationsLead continuous improvement in housekeeping and 5S practicesMentor and develop production operations and field experts to build an engaged workforceCreate and implement vision and strategy for production operations aligned with site and corporate goalsUtilize management systems to measure and improve production performanceSet and maintain standards for on‑time delivery of quality productsControl costs through operational and capital budget management and continuous improvement projectsBuild strong relationships with internal partners (commercial, marketing, operations, supply chain, HR, Finance, R&D)Facilitate collaboration and manage stakeholder expectations to deliver results on timeDemonstrate leadership in innovation, accountability, performance excellence, change management, customer focus, and teamworkMinimum RequirementsBachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience5+ years of progressive operations experience with proven successStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills with ability to prioritize and align organizational goalsEffective coach, communicator, and collaborator with internal and external partnersAbility to manage conflict and elevate issues appropriatelyFluent in EnglishPreferred RequirementsExpertise in managing significant change within manufacturing environmentsExperience in organizational development and team buildingProven success in change management initiativesProcess Safety Management experienceKnowledge of SAP or similar ERP systemsSix Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt)Exposure to continuous improvement techniques (TQM, DMAIC, FMEA, Lean, 5S, Value Stream Mapping)Experience leading in a union environmentMBA in Operations Management, Finance, or Accounting#LI-OA1H.B.
