Senior Automotive Quality Specialist

In the automotive sector, our client requires a top-notch professional to oversee their Plant Quality department in Piedras Negras. This critical role demands a highly skilled leader with extensive experience in Quality Management, Engineering or Process Engineering. Job Summary We are seeking an exceptional Senior Plant Quality Manager who will drive operational excellence and ensure compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent leadership skills and a proven track record of success in the automotive industry. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development: Build, mentor and inspire a high-performing Quality team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and professional growth. Quality Strategy & Execution: Define and implement the plant's Quality strategy, aligning with corporate objectives, managing resources and ensuring operational efficiency. Process & Product Quality Management: Oversee validation, calibration and statistical control processes (SPC, DOE, APQP) to guarantee stable, high-quality production. Customer & Compliance Management: Serve as the primary Quality representative in customer interactions, ensuring all regulatory and compliance requirements are met. Continuous Improvement & Problem-Solving: Lead initiatives to enhance product and process quality, proactively addressing root causes and implementing preventative measures. Qualifications & Requirements At least 10 years of experience in the automotive industry, with a background in Quality, Engineering or Process Engineering. Strong technical knowledge and expertise in Project Management. Proven leadership experience in developing teams and driving organizational results. Excellent English communication skills. Deep knowledge of automotive standards, including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and VDA 6.3.
