The NPI Procurement Lead supervises daily activities of a large team of procurement coordinators and/or assistants to ensure proper support for the procurement function. Input is provided on the development of processes and procedures for continuous improvement; identifies areas of improvement within the team. Coordinates work schedules, staffing requirements, and training requirements to maximize productivity. Has accountability for the performance of the team. About Your Role Provide direct support to product development teams including sourcing of materials, tooling, and prototypes. Management of supplier involvement in projects. Engagement with Supplier Development team to ensure part qualification requirements are met (70%). Engage with Category Management team to proactively identify and close gaps in AVL (approved vendor list) and strategies for important categories (10%). Align with manufacturing team to ensure selected sources meet operational needs: lead time, MOQ, logistics, and packaging requirements (10%). Own IBU procurement process for new product development. Coach & train organization as necessary (10%). Other duties as assigned. About You Education: High school diploma or equivalent Associate degree, two-year technical/trade degree, or equivalent preferred Bachelor or university degree is a plus Experience: Minimum 5 years of Engineering, Procurement, Quality, and 2+ years of product development experience preferred with an industrial manufacturing company or equivalent. Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills Fluent in English required; proficiency in Spanish and Chinese preferred Experience with PPAP, APQP, UL, and structured project environment for managing projects Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word, Visio, etc.) Demonstrates initiative, negotiation, time management, business acumen, resilience/drive for results, and leadership/team skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
