Global Supply Chain Director

In this specific role, we are supporting a client that is an industry-leading automotive component manufacturer. Manage and optimize the entire supply chain process, from sourcing materials to delivering finished products. Lead and manage the Production Control team and Distribution for our site, including assigning tasks, setting goals, and providing performance feedback. Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency. Coordinate with sales, engineering, and supply chain teams to align production plans with demand forecasts and customer requirements. Collaborate with procurement and vendors to maintain effective relationships and ensure the quality of materials. Manage logistics operations, including transportation and warehousing, to optimize costs and delivery times. Oversee inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods to prevent shortages or overstock situations. Strong understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management and logistics. Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems. Strong knowledge of legal requirements and regulations related to distribution and transportation. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Bilingual Spanish and English (Advanced). Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Experience of 5+ years in Distribution, Logistics, Traffic, and Trade & Compliance (preferably PCBA or Electronics sector).
