LE plays a crucial role in end to end component and sub-system technical development and change management, ensuring the solution will meet requirements set by Stakeholders, Architects and Systems Engineers. Similarly, a LE may be driving the implementation and change management for product platform engineering initiatives.General- LE is responsible for developing and maintaining sub-system as per requirements set by stakeholders, system engineers and architects and according to sub-system roadmap- LE is accountable for technical performance, compliance with codes & regulation- LE masters technology applicable to own component and sub-systemCreate and maintain technical solution for component and sub-system- Accountable and Responsible for creating detailed design specification from requirements- Accountable for developing and maintaining technical solution- Responsible for overall quality of the outcome of technical design- Responsible for ensuring cost competitiveness of solution over lifecycle- Support Project/Program manager and release manager with technical competence to prepare project/release plans- Support and guide engineers with technical competences in engineering design and verification- When playing role in any SC processes (Blue, Purple, CR, DevOps), LE is responsible for technical outcome of corresponding solution- Supports Sourcing and Supply Chain teams on technical aspects relating to the component or subsystem- Plays active role in selecting subcontractors and/or technology partners when activities are externalized.
