Responsibilities Ensure safety of employees. Ensure permanent customer satisfaction and intimacy: quality and deliveries. Manage variable margin: direct labor efficiency and productivity / material cost consumption/ Scrap and rework reduction. Manage fixed cost: indirect labor and manufacturing costs. Manage inventories: appropriate information management and physical flow in the plant to prevent inventory variances. Improve plant performance to achieve budget and EBIT values. Set plant lay out for optimal flow and efficient use of equipment: capacity, reliability, operating costs, CAPEX control. Drive continuous improvement in relation to the health and safety of people, the environment, the efficiency of processes and customer satisfaction. Support sales department for customer claims negotiation. Act within program team as early as acquisition, to create best conditions for production, secure launches and ensure competitiveness / profitability of the new programs. Drive supplier performance improvement, and material consumption reduction with purchasing department. Respect for the environment and security of the plant. Fulfill legal responsibilities and interface with local authorities. Apply legal and corporate standards. Ensure staffing, induction, training, empowerment, and development of all plant employees including managers & professional's. Develop team to prepare succession. Knowledge / Skills: Proven experience in production management and lean manufacturing Proven experience in team management with leadership and coaching skills Ability to build and manage a P&L budget with Finance knowledge Leadership ability, teamwork skills, and be able to work closely with all levels in the organization Excellent interpersonal skills International mind set Results orientation Education / Experience: Preferably Master’s Degree in Engineering or Production Systems. Minimum 10 years of team management experience Proficient level of English
