We are looking for a Design Engineer specializing in the development of automotive body, interior, and safety components to join projects in their early stages. If you have solid experience in design, technical development, and change management in the automotive industry, this opportunity is for you. Main activities: • Monitoring and support in releases. • Management and validation of model changes and program points. • Development and modification of surfaces and 3D models of parts. • Creation and updating of technical drawings of components. • Integration and review of geometries. • Interference and failure analysis. • Preparation of data transfer packages. • Support for internal systems. • Updating of product descriptions and generation of technical checklists. • Preparation of technical reports and monitoring of project milestones. Requirements: • Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive component design or participation in at least 2 automotive projects. • Advanced proficiency in: -CATIA V5 -3D modeling, surfaces, and solids -Preparation of technical drawings -Product data management and product description. • Experience working under product development processes. • Knowledge of engineering change management (engineering change requests, change control, permits). • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Teams tools. • Minimum 70% English (conversational). • German desirable (intermediate).
