Operations Logistics Specialist

Job Title: Logistics Operations Specialist Job Description This role is accountable for the execution of logistical responsibilities essential to supply chain management. Key functions encompass scheduling, maintenance, and comprehensive follow-up throughout the entirety of the logistics process, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries. Responsibilities: Execute collections and deliveries according to plans and needs. Ensure loads are shipped and delivered on time, with accurate PODs uploaded by Third Party LSP in Freightview TMS. Assist depots with queries related to collections/deliveries. Ensure transporeon data entered by LSPs is accurate. Maintain planning controls of deliveries and collections updated. SAP entries related to customers, consignee operations, and inventories must be maintained accurately. Stay informed about economic and business situations affecting procurement policies and strategies. Assist with ad-hoc reporting matters or assigned tasks. For this role to be successful, an individual must be able to perform each responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required: Qualifications: High School diploma or GED. Excellent analytical and communication skills. Fluent English, spoken and written. Able to execute cross-functional team activities to achieve logistics excellence. Strong attention to detail in a high level of accuracy. Proficiency in SAP preferred. Committed, proactive, and willingness to learn. Comfortable working in a changing dynamic environment. Proficiency in Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
