Senior Technical Lead - Engineering Projects

Project Management Professional A Project Manager directs the activities of a technical team to meet site goals and objectives. This position provides technical guidance and leadership for assigned projects within the engineering organization. The individual manages and provides status of engineering projects, schedules, and budgets; prepares status reports. The person assesses engineering project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives. Responsibilities: Responsible for managing engineering projects and personnel, including the technical assessment of all assigned projects. The successful candidate will lead the program technical team to deliver key programs or projects per associated quality, time, and cost constraints. Leads technical teams with regard to program-related Root Cause and Corrective Action/Non-conformance Disposition (MRB). Drives functional excellence initiatives, high-quality functional deliverables, and ensures technical excellence for product or technical development. Assists in managing resources to support program schedules, balancing needs, priorities, and costs. Establishes priorities imparting a sense of urgency and importance to effectively deliver products per quality, cost, and time constraints. E nsures that projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Drives accountability to timelines and metrics throughout the organization. Frequently coordinates with internal personnel at various management levels concerning operations, scheduling, or specific phases of projects or programs. Conducts briefings and leads technical meetings for internal and external representatives concerning specific operations or projects. Frequently involved simultaneously in several projects. Ensures product and customer service quality. Resolves issues and/or team conflicts. Meets with program managers, support staff, vendors, and customers to solicit cooperation and resolve problems. Conducts briefings to engineering leadership and program management.
