The Fire & Security Lead is aspecialist personresponsiblefor managing and coordinating all fire safety and security operations within the facility. This roleensurecompliance with legal regulations, corporate standards and best practices in fire prevention, emergency preparedness and response, physical security, investigations.The fire & security lead provides leadership to the security team and collaborates with cross-functional departments to foster a safe and secure environment for people,assetsand operations.The job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Oversee inspection, testing and maintenance of fire detection and suppression systems. (sprinklers, alarms, special suppression agent, gaseous agents, fire extinguishers, fire pumps)Ensure compliance with local and international fire codes (NFPA, NOM, Stellantis fire standards)Develop andmaintainfire safety plans, evacuation procedures, emergency preparedness, emergency response, Civil Protection annual plan, Incidence management team responsibilities and exercises.Lead fire risk assessments and implement corrective actions.Coordinate fire drills and emergency response for staff and emergency brigadesManage emergency contacts and coordination with local authoritiesManage contracts and performance of external fire service providers.Supervise daily operations of security personneland ensure adherence to the SOP’sImplement andmonitoraccess control systems, CCTV, intrusionresponseand perimeter protection measures.Conduct security audits,patrolsand incident investigationsLead response to security incidents, ensuringtimelyreporting and root cause analysisSupport compliance with C-TPAT,AEOand other industry security standards.Coordinate visitor,contractorand vendor access processes.Lead,trainand evaluate fire and security team members, including third party contractorsDevelop KPIs and prepare reports on fire and security performance,incidents,and improvement actionsParticipate in budgeting for fire and security equipment, services, and projectsServes as a key contact for regulatory bodies, insurance representatives and emergency service.
